The YDN is compsed of dance artists as well as dance programmers. This workshop is meant for professionals that are busy with the topic of how and who to programm in the field of dance for young audience. It is a time to share practices and curatorial questions.
After a plenary introduction we will create small working groups to map practices from practical tools to curatorial questions, which we will then share among the whole group.
The workshop is open for programmers as well as artists.
About the Artists
Giovanna Palmieri is a programmer and actress from Italy.
As an organizer she has been dedicated to the organization of projects in the sector of TYA in Emilia Romagna and in Trentino, always following the sector at national and international level (Festivals, Conferences and Projects).
In March 2013 she was President of A.T.I.G -National Association of Theatre for Children and Youth - ASSITEJ Italy.
Since 1996, she has been a consultant for the S. Chiara Cultural Services Center of Trento (IT) for which she curates the programming, organization and training projects in the field Theatre and dance for Children and Youth.
