Tunnel is an unusual production that seeks comfort in the dark and treats light like a delicious dessert. Light is inseparably linked to colour, shape, structure, depth, distance, and activity. When there is no light, it is dark. In darkness, we cannot see colours, we cannot perceive actual shapes and sizes, we cannot perceive structure without touching, and we can hardly determine distances. At first, it seems that the light can be controlled, while the darkness - unknown and dangerous - cannot. However, in this performance, the situation is soon reversed - with a pinch of courage and cooperation, we can safely enjoy the darkness. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe, I will tell you where to go, so you don't fall into the darkness, so you don't get lost in the forest, eeny, meeny, miny, moe.

About the Artists

Miha Golob attended elementary school and high school in Ljubljana. He initially studied journalism and then continued to study theater directing at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television of the University of Ljubljana. He finished his studies with a staging of Bertolt Brecht's Small Town Wedding and graduated with a thesis Theory of Art, Theater and Direction under professors Mile Korun and Matjaž Zupančič. During his studies, he received the academic Prešeren award and the directing award at the International Festival of Theater Academies in Brno. Shortly after completing his studies, he took over the artistic and business management of the Šentjakob Theater in Ljubljana for four years (2002–2006). Since 2008, he has the status of an independent creator in the field of culture. In addition to creating theatrical productions in repertory theaters, he also works as a mentor for theater workshops, seminars and theater groups from Slovenia and abroad. He also participated in television production several times. During his 20 years as a professional director, he directed primarily in Slovenian institutional theaters and directed more than 30 different productions. He directs performances for children and youth as well as performances for adults, from contemporary drama to Slovenian and world classics. He most often ties his theatrical thinking to socially critical topics, in recent years with an emphasized author's approach. In 2014, he tried his hand at puppet theater for the first time. The performances Little Blue and Little Yellow produced by LGM, and Akvarij produced by LGL became hits with many tours abroad. The staging of Little Blue and Little Yellow has had more than 100 repetitions, and both works have had performances at more than twenty festivals at home and abroad (Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland, Croatia, Italy, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Poland, Estonia, Turkey, Ireland). Three of his performances for children are listed on the Zlata Paličica online platform of quality performances. When necessary, he finds encouragement in remembering that seven of his productions are currently running in Slovenian theaters, one of which has been playing for 13 seasons!
