After a short overview of the strengths, weaknesses and threats of working internationally in TYA, the goal of this panel discussion is to discuss about new ways (the opportunities) that practitioners have to create work for children, in an ever challenging world. We will explore various questions, including: • What are the artistic challenges that lie ahead? • How should we cope with them? • How should we overcome them? • How can new technologies can help us? The idea of this panel discussion is to confront issues around artistic diversity but also to look at how we can deepen relationships within the ASSITEJ community, and to search for a sustainable cultural environment for children and artists.
