Music in Theatre for Early Years
Music In Theatre For Early Years is a creative documentary with practical exercises that gives participants insight into Theatre Madam Bach’s use of Soundscapes and Music when creating performances and Art projects for young audiences between two and six-years-old. We explore the ways in which Music and Sound can create atmospheres that either take centre stage, or can be used as complementary devices to support the images, words, movements, and interactions on stage. Participants of this session will be given access to a document with step by step guidelines on how to make soundscapes.
We welcome anyone with an interest in Music and Theatre for Early Years to join - no experience necessary. However we recommend using good quality headphones for the documentary in order to experience maximum quality recordings.

•About Theatre Madam Bach•
Theatre Madam Bach creates visual Theatre for Children aged two to six. Through rich imagery, captivating soundscapes, and a poetic use of words, their Theatre performances speak to the senses - in a language where the child feels at home. Theatre Madam Bach’s shows often branch out in other artistic formats too; music, illustrated books, workshops, or Art projects that promote creativity and curiosity, and encourage the child to engage beyond the Theatre experience itself.
Theatre Madam Bach was founded by Artistic Rirectors Pernille Bach and Christian Schrøder in 1997 in order to create high quality Theatre for Younger Audiences.
