It’s a huge honour to welcome every single one of you to IIAN’s first world congress, Catch the Wave! With a whole week where we focus on inclusive performing arts for young audiences, we start off with a gathering, both in person and online. We are so excited to celebrate inclusion and diversity with this conference, and will take this time to present you with the programme for an eventful and energetic week, as well as the IIAN network and of course, the new members of the IIAN board. The welcoming event will include time for us all to get to know each other across the world, and express our ideas, curiosities, and passions within the performing arts, and explore how inclusivity can bring about the future of the industry. This is a space for those who have worked extensively with inclusivity, as well as those who have just begun to explore this approach.
