Magnet Theatre's 'Bounced' is a fun, high energy, playful production, exploring the dynamics of a group of young friends. Four young men are caught up in the pitfalls of exclusion, bullying and ‘othering’. Young audiences are invited to consider their own lives and friendship groups, and to think about questions such as: Who is in, who is out, who leads and who follows?
The four young actors work with extreme sensitivity and humour to expose the delicate balance of human interactions and power struggles, which exist in groups of all sorts and sizes. The piece delicately navigates to the understanding that fun shared is always fun doubled.
