ACTYA - Network of African National Centres Members of ASSITEJ International and cultural institutions that work with children and young people within the African Continent.
ACTYA hereby proposes the Artistic Meeting of the African Delegation with the different networks of ASSITEJ Global. We recognize that ACTYA years ago played a very relevant role in the creation of National Centres within the African continent and there were several forums in which African delegations met internationally to discuss collective strategies.
At this very moment, ACTYA is in the process of revitalization and restructuring, finding as a Network a unified ideology "I am because we are" - Ubuntu.
With the leadership of a new ACTYA executive board, we propose the following:
- Inauguration of the ACTYA Executive Board in this great celebration of ASSITEJ International's 60th anniversary
- Mention of Honour from ACTYA for important figures in strengthening this great African network
- Redefinition of the strategic leadership plan of the ACTYA executive board
- Networking session with other ASSITEJ International networks
- Networking session with global translingual networks
- Networking session of African children's and youth festivals with international festivals
- Exhibition of African festivals and companies on a worldwide scale.
