This session took place on Wednesday, 25th of January 2023, at 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Jordan time, and was held in both English and Arab and was live streamed to Facebook with the consent of all participants.

The aim of the session was to connect performing arts practitioners globally with a point of connection in a Jordanian and Arab context. 

The session started with Safi Adnan telling the story of the MedeArts Network, which operates in a city called Irbid – in the north of Jordan. A story about how the process of networking, cooperation, cultural exchange, exchange of experiences and skills, has been an essential part of the success and growth of this cultural organization.

After this inspiring story the meeting gave the opportunity for the participants to use the networking tool called “Tandem” in pairs of 2-3 persons based on their interest (see image below). The tandem was made in a Miro board that provided a space for the participants to connect also after the online session and was combined with see conversations in break out rooms in the Zoom meeting.
