Warning: limited number of places!
Bookings for this workshop will open on March 17.
The session will be led by two members of Fundación Avanti: Rocío Villegas and Luz María Eynaudi. We will share what Avanti Foundation has been doing through its Scenic Laboratories (spaces for scenic creation and research workshops with young people) with a focus on Memory, using testimonial and documentary theater as our methodological basis.
We will share exercises that enable us to mobilize our own historical memories, regardless of nationality, and search for common spaces and struggles that allow us to investigate the possibility of finding common threads that weave us together.
Based on this, we will reflect on the importance of memory care, the transmission of milestones and historical struggles, and collective and subjective memories. Through theater, this approach can serve as a bridge for intergenerational creation that promotes the understanding of human rights for the "never again" and the "non-repetition" of horrors and barbarism.
The conclusions will be systematized by Avanti Foundation and shared with the organization and attendees.
