The Girl Who Sings & The Girl On The Roof
Cie Les racines- Fekeng
Musical Theatre / Plateau du Merlan

A young girl wavers at the diagnosis of her illness, schizophrenia. However, she will search within herself for the desire to get out of it and the will to fight. She climbs onto the roofs, engages the iron, addresses the sky. It is also the story of another woman, the one who sings, elsewhere on another continent, who lives in a different context but has the same situation as this young girl on the roof. This show combines two languages, that of Luc Tartar and that of Jeannette Mogoun, French and Bandjoun, two contexts, two cultures and two continents, Europe and Africa. This polyphony questions the world and humanity in its perspective and its cultural diversity.

About the Artists
