Two percussionists face strange objects, endowed with unsuspected musical possibilities. Outside is a musical quest inaugurating a long, exciting and tumultuous relationship between people and the sounds that surround them. From noise to musical gesture, the two musician-explorers, zarb on their backs, go from discovery to discovery, following the intuition of childhood, guided by their successes and their failures. They organize sounds, control them, master them and uncover the hidden music, revealing strange refrains.

About the Artists
The Braz Bazar duo takes young and old off the beaten track, to the frontiers of poetry, theatrical and choreographic gesture, where music dialogues with the most diverse and colorful sensibilities. Bastian Pfefferli and Jérémie Abt met during their studies at the Conservatoire. There they discovered contemporary music together, but also Iranian zarb, Indian tablas and Balinese gamelan. The desire to break down the barriers between genres and question the links between tradition and creation became increasingly present. Addressing young audiences then became a possibility, then an obviousness.
