Mogućnost zabavljanja kod ptica / Do Birds Have The Capacity For Fun?
As humans, we often only think about ourselves - and yet it is not hard to imagine a world without people. Using this notion as a starting point, the performance moves away from anthropocentric (human-centred) theatre and instead creates a ‘theatre of objects'. What does a vacuum cleaner know about life? Day in and day out, we use vacuums and many other gadgets and they, in turn, become silent observers of our existence on Earth. Disposing of these objects when we have had enough of them, we must not forget that they play witness to some of the most important events of our lives. Repurposing these objects as the protagonists, this environmentally conscious production is eco-friendly in its theme, its production process, and its aesthetic form. Today, as we face ecological catastrophes, pandemics, and wars in our daily lives, it is not hard to imagine a world without people. One day, when we eventually disappear from the face of the Earth, the birds will hopefully outlive us - and they hopefully won't forget how to have fun.
