The Little Red Riding Hood
For the first time, Pommerat’s text of The Little Red Riding Hood is staged in Brazil in a production directed by Camila Bauer. This Brazilian adaptation offers an aesthetic suitable for both adults and children as we following Little Red Riding Hood leaving her home and beginning her life as a grown-up - an adventure that both fascinates and scares her. With language completely appropriate and engaging for young audiences, the production takes on a whole new level of meaning for the grown-ups - offering something for everybody. Whilst the narrator tells us the story, a combination of dance, set changes, music, and microphones come together to offer a vibrant performance full of imagery and sound. Overall, the performance aims to produce a dialogue with a wide diversity of ages - composing a spectacle that is appropriate for all.
