Paths of Artistic Creation: Improvisation and Very Young Audiences
During this meeting, we will share our experience of creating Musical Theatre for very young audiences. How does early childhood lead us to invent new artistic forms? How can the invention of a sensory and poetic language enable us to share across all ages and cultures and speak to the universality present in each of us? We would like to present our recent experiences of creation and devising of new artistic forms which meet the demands of this audience group, along with their accompanying adults. We are interested in multidisciplinary improvisation (movement and music) and how improvisation allows us to rediscover our childhood state. This meeting is open to all those who wish to critically engage with themes of artistic creation, which may include artists, programmers, teachers, and other professionals working in the field of Early Childhood.
