How does a performing artist make a living? We all know that lots of artists and other professionals in this industry struggle to make ends meet. In the shadow of the pandemic, now more than ever, working conditions are uncertain and unpredictable. In this round table session we will meet experienced dance professionals that will share their opinions on questions such as, "Is there a market for the performing arts?", "If so, what does it look like?", and "How do we relate to it in a sensible way?" Also to be discussed are attitudes relating to economic issues that make the situation unnecessarily complicated. Do we need a more open attitude towards these things? Money is something that we use everyday and it is something we all need to survive - but we still don't really want to talk about it.
